  • Tristen is absolutely correct. No one can be turned away from an Emergency Room for lack of ability to pay. It's against the law, the supreme court said so! Why do you think so many trauma centers and emergency rooms have closed?? They can't afford to continue to eat the costs for those non payers.

  • I am a Democrat who doesn't believe government is capable of controlling our healthcare - they mess everything up! However why even bother if you're still going to have millions who are still uninsured? If you're going to do it - do it right - make sure every single citizen is covered.
